It was one of those days at the Oregon Coast that was absolutely gorgeous, all warm and sunny. Julie and Nick, like so many of their fellow 2020 wedding couples, had to postpone their original wedding and chose to hold a small ceremony with a few family and friends to celebrate their commitment to each other. Nick’s parents have a GORGEOUS piece of property high on the hills of the coast of Newport Oregon, surrounded by forest and views, and so the wedding was held there. (His parents want to turn it into a wedding venue, and I whole heartedly support their decision!) The ceremony was beautiful and sweet, Nick’s smile was huge as he watched his stunning bride walk towards him (and prior to that, their sweet dog who held the rings). Vows and tons of laughter was exchanged in front of their small in-person audience and their live stream web audience, then hugs and tears of joy followed by a toast. Afterwards we walked among the trees and ferns of the forest, where the sunlight streamed through the trees and I captured their love. I left soon after that, but not before taking some shots of their reception set up. Seriously amazing day.
